The utility model is related to the field of heat-and-power engineering and can be used for increasing the efficiency coefficient of domestic boilers with surface heating of coolant.
The basic problem solved by the model is to increase the coefficient of efficiency of domestic use boilers with surface heating of coolant. This is realized by the use of the device for domestic boilers, built according to method of surface heating of coolant (all rights belong to the inventor Vasil Pavlenko).
The device for domestic use boilers utilizes kiln gases heat for contact heating of coolant. This device has heat-exchange chamber with conical mouth-piece. The said mouth-piece is made as a truncated cone with mounted on it additional sprinkler with shower nozzle, side nozzle and water supply pipe. In the top part of the heat-exchange chamber mounted a sprayer head with nozzle and nipple designed to supply water from heating system. Besides this, top part of heat –exchange chamber has admission nipple for kiln gases that come into the heat-exchange chamber attached to a canister. The top part of the canister is equipped with kiln gases pipe-bend attached to the outtake turbo-fan. This pipe-bend is made as a flanged pipe length with mounted turbo-fan. On the bottom of the canister there is a heated liquid outlet made as a nipple with check valve.
The device can be used as a radiator to heat living quarters. Also it can work as a gas-fired boiler being equipped with a dynamic burning gas-jet, as it is disclosed in Ukrainian patent #98296.
To operate the device there is no need in smoke funnel. The device is equipped with circulation pump and turbo-fan of serial manufacture. The capacity of the circulation pump motor is 20 Watt; the same of turbo-fan is 50 Watt. The weight if the device is up to five kilos.
The device had been tested. Water was heated from 68 to 141 F. The heat rate was 21,2 kilowatt, coefficient of efficiency 99.3 percent.
Using the device for contact heating of coolant one can sufficiently decrease the material capacity of a boiler. The coefficient of efficiency of the contact heating of coolant device is close to hundred percent. Kiln gases in the heat-exchange chamber are subject to wet treatment that lowers the content of malicious admixtures. This fact makes the process much more ecologically safe when kiln gases are injected into atmosphere. So the use of the described device can lead to sufficient economy effect.
